Photoshop For Photographers (Adults)
Description
Learn practical Photoshop techniques that apply to the photographer. Hands-on and web-based exercises will assist you in perfecting your photography workflow. The following methods and features are just a few of the topics that will be covered. Advanced selecting techniques, layers/adjustment layers, masking, JPG vs. RAW, Histogram, Dodging, Burning & Sharpening, Black & White techniques, Digital Photography Workflow, Online Printing.
Textbook will be discussed in class. One student per computer. This computer lab runs Photoshop on Windows and Mac. Prerequisite: Students must have basic computer skills, including an understanding of file and folder structure. Students must provide their own camera, Digital SLR preferred. A $25 lab fee is payable to the instructor the first day of class.
